Meet Lucy

Hello, I’m Lucy — founder and owner of Intrinsic Balance Massage. My intention is to create a safe, nurturing space where you can truly unwind, relax, and reconnect with yourself.

With a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection, I approach every session with presence, compassion, and care.

Over the years, I have been privileged to witness how each body holds its own story; therefore, each treatment is tailored to support your body’s natural rhythm as it heals and restores balance. I’ve had the joy of working with a diverse range of people throughout their lives — from young athletes recovering from injuries to retirees looking to enhance mobility and embrace greater freedom in their bodies.

In 2020 I graduated from the Australian Institute of Fitness (Adelaide) with a Diploma in Remedial Massage. Since then, I have continued to deepen my knowledge and skills in various modalities such as Myofascial Cupping, IASTM and Pregnancy Massage. Motivated by a deep desire to explore the mind-body connection, I most recently completed a degree in Psychology, which enriches my commitment to offering authentic, holistic treatments tailored to each individual. As a dedicated practitioner, my journey of learning is ongoing—ever-changing, ever-growing. With an open heart and a curious mind, I welcome each opportunity to deepen my wisdom, so I can lovingly share what I’ve learned to support and enrich your quality of life.

Outside of work, I enjoy catching up with friends, walking in nature, practicing yoga, learning anything new, and spending time with my hand-reared cat, Edie. Before becoming a Remedial Massage Therapist, I worked for many years in veterinary clinics as a Registered Veterinary Nurse — a role that deepened my love for animals, which continues to this day!
